Dream for You

 Anyone that knows me well knows that Casting Crowns is my favorite Christian band and this month they came out with a new album called Thrive (yes, I pre-ordered it to have it as soon as possible).  I've always found their songs to be lyrically profound and often inspirit with every song on the album being worth listening to over and over.  I was not disappointing with this new release in the least.  There are many songs I'd like to share from the album but for now I'll just stick with one.  The song "Dream for You" is a great reminder that God's dreams are not always our dreams but that His dreams are ALWAYS bigger and better (but not always easier).

 I would encourage you to read the lyrics and watch/listen to the video for this song and ask God to show you what His dream is for you. :)

Amazing!! I really like that song now, even though I've never heard it before! Oftentimes I get ahead of God and try to plan what I want to do with my life. But, God already has a plan for my life; His plan. I need to let Him dream for me, and let go of my own dreams and plans. Thanks for sharing this!! :)

I don't listen to CCM much, but every time I try it again I'm more impressed than I thought I would be. This song had great lyrics! :D

You're welcome Kimberlynne! I think we all get ahead of God and try our our own plans at some time or another (I know I have!). Sometimes our plans are God's plans that He has put on our hearts we just need to make sure we pray about it first. :)

Hannah, I usually fairly picky about what CCM music I listen to and I've always found Casting Crowns songs to be lyrically strong. :)

Glad you ladies are enjoying the song as much as I do!
